Here for sale is the vp1 flying platform built by Airbuoyant in Indiana. This project was built similar to the original hiller flying platform the navy built in 1955 as can be seen on youtube.
I have no space for it and i'm currently building a helicopter which consumes most of my time.
The platform is stripped down because of lack of space, it has a kawazaki 440 pull start engine and runs ivoprop blades It needs work, i think it lacks enough power to fly with a person standing on it so an additional engine might be needed.
I had the intention of getting her flying but the helicopter project i'm working on interests me more, if i had the space i would keep her and work on her at a later date. Its an interesting project to have it has 'lots' of cash injected into its developement already and it cost a small fortune to get it shipped to me here in Scotland.
You wont see 'anything' like it advertised again on ebay or anywhere else for that matter there are no kits you can buy to build this and the work to this stage is really high standard.
Grab a bargan while you can opportunities like this dont come round often enough!
Good luck with the bidding!!
