Do I need new Brake Pads?

There are several warning signs that your vehicle can give you before your brakes may reach the point of potential failure or extensive repair.

• Does your brake warning light come on when you are driving?
• Is your brake fluid low?
• Do you hear a grinding sound or a squealing sound when you apply the brake pedal?
• Do you feel a pulsation or some sponginess in the brake pedal when it is depressed?
• Does your vehicle steer or pull to one side when braking?

What does a brake pad do?

Brake pads are a key brake part as they are the component that contacts and applies pressure and friction to a vehicle's brake discs. The pressure and friction applied to the brake disc is what slows and stops the wheel. Once the wheels stop turning, the vehicle stops moving, too.

The exact materials used to make brake pads vary by manufacturer; generally brake pads are made of a mixture of metallic shavings or non-metallic, organic materials.

Warranty

All items come with at least a 12 Month Manufacturers Warranty covering manufacturing defects only. This warranty excludes any damage caused by incorrect fitting by the user.

All parts should be installed by a qualified mechanic, we cannot be held responsible for problems caused by professional fitting procedures not undertaken.

Copies of invoices maybe requested if a warranty claim is instigated to question procedures followed.

Returns Procedurev

At Click Car Parts we strive to exceed our customer's expectations however we do realise that on occasion you may need to return or cancel an item you have purchased.

We offer a 7 Day no quibble return policy from order of the original date of purchase provided that the following criterion is met:

• We must be informed of any returns within 7 days of the original purchase date
• Items must be returned to us at your cost with a Returns Authorisation Number
• If item is to be found faulty buyers postage costs will be refunded
• Any products returned must be in a re-saleable condition in original packaging with documentation as supplied.
• Items must not have been fitted or tested on the vehicle
• Items returned outside of the return period specified may be subject to a surcharge of 10% (This charge is due to restocking the unwanted item after the 7 day period)
• Please note items not fit for resale will not be refunded

Please email us through eBay requesting a return on your item, we aim to deal with all emails on a 48 hr turn around Monday to Friday.
