Item specifics | ||||
|
Denford Mirac CNC Lathe currently running on Mach3. Has 8 station tool changer with custom made collets as the originals were missing. Unfortunatly the automatic tool changer doesnt work via Mach3, it works with a 3 Gang switch. Spindle and axis work in mach3, All ive used this machine for is making spikes with threads as seen in picture 8. Its made around 15 spikes in total which are all aluminium. I converted the machine which now has Gecko drives among other hardware and also works with a USB pendant. It also works with a full spray collant system included. Please note the wiring inside the hardware box is messy but does work fine. If somone had the time they could easily neaten it up. Whats included: CNC lathe 4" chuck with standard jaws and reversable jaws. PC with Mach3, monitor, keyboard and mouse USB pendant 6 Custom made collets. Note the company that made these snapped grub screws on some of these. They still work fine though. Some tooling Coolant system Coolant removal motor and pipework (requires 12V supply) Monitor mounting bracket with screws already tapped and fitted to the side of the machine Link to refurbishment: http://www.mycncuk.com/forums/showthread.php/1764-Denford-Mirac-Electronics-Refurbishment/page2
Machine weighs around 210kgs, and hardware box weighs around 70kgs. Would fit into an ford escort van or larger. Will require 3 people to lift and move. Currently on a pallet. |
