Compare this to other  **020 centrifuges on offered with 270LPH & 200 cc dirt capacity (Where units are shown in GPH they are normally imperial US Gallons - 3.78 litres / gal).   We offer a complete kit ready to fit to a your pumps discharge (may need an adapter depending on pumps discharge port size / type).  As you can see the kit is constructed from high spec hydraulic fittings with swivel ends including a 1 metre long Parker hydraulic hose.  Nobody else's kit uses proper hydraulic fittings - 


Price wise this is a centrifuge and kit for the price of a similar centrifuge - saving you about £55

Centrifuge filtration is the best way to purify oils down to sub-micron levels of cleanliness with the benefit of being a fairly clean unattended process.  Common applications include:
  • Waste Vegetable Oil
  • Feedstock for Biodiesel
  • Removal of glycerin from crude biodiesel
  • Final polish of Biodiesel
  • As part of a diesel engine's lube system to remove hard / abrasive soot and wear particles extending oil change intervals and increase engine life (Most large engine manufacturers such as Cummins fit this as a standard OEM product
  • Purification of used motor oil (UMO) for use in UMO burners 
  • Hydraulic oils
  • Transmission fluids
  • Will remove magnesol from Biodiesel
Centrifuges are fairly simple to use, come with full support and require a gear pump capable of 4.5 LPM (for this size) and 7 bar with oil at 50deg C (not some gear pumps are specified at 7 Bar but some 1/3 hp pumps we have tried only give 4 -5 bar pressure in real life situations).  We offer pumps matched to each centrifuge.

Oil purification requires 3 - 4 passes depending on how dirty your oil is, oil needs to be hot enough to flow (for WVO / UCO we recommend 40 - 50deg C)

Centrifuge should be protected from pressure in excess of 7 bar with an external pressure relief valve set to 7 bar

For customers that don't have a gear pump we can supply a pump matched to the centrifuguge  Please note we offer combined purchases with items bought on our web site store too!

if your pump is 7 bar or lower there is no need for a pressure relief valve.  

All centrifuges come with a drum bracket for fitting inside a 205 litre Drum (other option is to fit directly to the lid of a clamp lid drum using the fuge's gasket as a template for fittings and oil drain).
