Hi, welcome to my auction for my Series 2 106 Rallye in Bianca White,

If your looking at this you probably know what these cars are all about, which is being very light and stripped out with a revvy little engine that surprises alot of people!

There was only 500 of these made for this country as they were a rally homologation model.

Anyway......

Ive owned this car for around a year and its honestly been the most fun you can have with your clothes on!

Ive tried to keep it as standard as possible but have added some improvements as i am a fully qualified mechanic,

1600 8 valve engine - with standard high lift cam, Runs sweet as a nut,

• New clutch kit - March 11 
• New timing belt kit - June 11
• New water pump - June 11
• Service with new , oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs - July 11
• New wishbones x2 - August 11
• New front disks and pads - August 11
• New track rod ends x2 - August 11
• New wiper blades - August 11
• Brand new 4-2-1 raceland stainless manifold and gasket - August 11
• Race tube centre section 2 1/4 inch pipe to a powerflow back box with 4" outward rolled tip - September 11
• There was a very small amount of play in the rear axle (common problem) so before the problem doveloped further i fitted grease nipples on both sides, and that has taken the play up - October 11
• New handbrake cable - November 11
• New washer jet motor - November 11
• The wheels were refurbished around 2 years ago
• Tyres range from 5-3mm and are lower profile than standard (55)

The subtle improvements made to the car are,

• 106 XSI stitched leather steering wheel
• Lowered 30mm and torsion bar adjusted to suit
• Saxo vts seats (more comfortable)
• Clear side repeaters
• 206 GTI rear wiper arm
• 106 GTI boot spoiler
• Alloy petrol cap sprayed white

The good bits.....

• The engine runs faultlessly and goes like stink!
• Below average milage 114,000
• The gearbox has no crunches/whines or anything bad (very rare for a 106 this is my 11th and has been the best)
• Its like a go-kart to drive and surprises alot of people
• Far more fun than any other 106 trust me ive had the lot ! very revvy with a close ratio gearbox
• Quite tidy for the age
• Not been in a smash (all panels line up correctly)
• Its a standard 8 valve (not many left)
• Solid floor
• Does 32mpg

The bad bits.....

• The paintwork on the front bumper is flakey and has a light scuff on the passenger side
• The paintwork on the boot spoiler is poor
• The wing mirror caps dont fit very well (been meaning to get new ones but not had chance, will be £5 from a scrappy)
• The drivers side front wheel arch clips have smashed (im on the hunt for another one but it will mastik back on)
• Some of the clips on the side skirts arent the best (not hanging off or anything im just covering myself)
• There is a small inch split in the boot floor (not structural at all and is just a bit rusty, will just need a tack along the seam , a 2 minute job that i would of done but i dont have a welder
• There is a crack at the very bottom of the windscreen on the corner of the drivers side (not an m.o.t fail and does not obstruct the view as is hardly noticable)
• There is some surface rust in the engine bay (nothing bad just being honest)
• The rear boot decals are faded ( been quoted £20 for a new pair )
• There is some small parking dinks on the bodywork (again nothing bad just covering myself)
• The exhaust sometimes has a rattle at low revs

It comes with m.o.t till October and tax till April

If you want creature comforts do not bid, these come with no sound deadening, abs, power steering, or out like that although i will include a half eaten packet of digestives in the sale,

Its exactly as stated as i wouldnt waste your time or mine
