DAIMLER DS420 LANDAULETTE
VANDEN PLAS
WITH RARE CONFETTI CLOUD
WEDDING CAR
"In 1973/1974, Vanden Plas produced two DS420 cars converted to landaulette. They were presented as the most individual and expensive car ever to be offered by British Leyland, and would cost at least £15.000,- This was equivalent to the price of a Rolls Royce Corniche, and twice the price of a standard DS420 at that time. This amount of money would also buy you a fleet of 16 Ford Escorts. Needless to say, customers did not line up for such an expensive vehicle, and no more were produced after the initial two."
NOT SURE ABOUT THE ABOVE BUT THIS IS A VANDEN PLAS CAR REGISTERED IN 1974 BUT PLEASE DO YOUR OWN CHECKS AS CANNOT CONFIRM
THESE GEMS CAN SELL FOR UP TO £20000

DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING!
WINNING BIDDER TO PAY £500 DEPOSIT OR COLLECT WITHIN 24HRS FROM END OF AUCTION!
DO NOT IGNORE THE ABOVE!
NB: WORDS TO THE EFFECT OF, 'What will you take for her mate' WILL BE IGNORED,
IN MY OPINION THIS CAR IS IN PRESENTABLE CONDITION BUT IF YOU ARE AFTER A 'TRAILER QUEEN' THEN THIS ONE IS NOT FOR YOU!
NO MAJOR ROT BUT COULD DO WITH SOME MINOR COSMETIC RESTORING IE, BLISTERS/SCUFFS, ETC. BEING SOLD AS AN ONGOING PROJECT. ALTHOUGH ALL EFFORTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO GIVE AN HONEST APPRAISAL OF THE ABOVE VEHICLE IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THE DESCRIPTION SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN AS CONCLUSIVE.
NB: 'Confetti Cloud' = An expensive patent product which when the roof is down can fire 50,000 pieces of confetti 100ft in the air. This popular option normally commands an addition £100 fee. The interior has a working electric divisional window. Regards
NB: Bodywork/paintwork on the whole looks good and polishes up nice but there is room for improvement, ie,blisters/imperfections on the lower passenger doors and front wing. Sills and arches look good. Interior & hood are in my opinion,in excellent condition. Regards
