This is a very fine example of the Olympus BHB microscope. It has a trinocular head with a camera tube and a pair of  P7x eyepieces in focussing mounts.  The five position turret has a x4 achromat, a x10 achromat, a x 20 achromat, a x40 Plan achromat and a x 100 oil immersion objective with an iris diaphragm. All seem to be in excellent condition and show no signs of delamination or other faults. The stage has drop down concentric controls and operates as it should, with a spring clip for holding slides. The condenser has a removable top lens for low power work and can be focussed. It has a built - in iris diaphragm and a series of four annuli for phase contrast work.  The coarse and fine focussing are both very smooth. At the front of the aperture through which the transmitted light emerges in the base, is a knurled ring which controls the field iris. Above this, but below the sub-stage is another lens which can be removed. Towards the rear of the base, on the right hand side, is a lever which is marked H and L for high or low power  illumination. The light source is a quartz - halogen 6 Volt, 30 Watt, controlled by a slider on the right of the base can run from all mains voltages. If the microscope sells in the U.K., it will be supplied with a mains lead with a 13 amp plug. It weighs 10 kg before packing, so postage will not be inexpensive. Packing and signed for postage within the U.K.will be £20.00. I would much prefer it to be collected, or I could possibly deliver it for 50 p per mile. Postage abroad would be up to £120 or so, depending on its final destination and weight when packed. I'll keep it to the minimum, but I will not be able to tell the final cost until it's packed.
