Whilst I have tried to keep my (large) record collection in goo...d condition inevitably over the years dust has gathered in grooves and having bought a new turntable it was time to find a way of cleaning without spending a small fortune on a cleaning machine. The Knosti seemed to fit the bill; I did some further online research and went ahead with the order. The records certainly do sound better using distilled water and dishwasher rinse aid - I have not used the supplied cleaning fluid following what I had read on the various online forums. Overall, a good and simple way to clean records and the service and delivery time could not be faulted.

easy to put together, ea...sy to use, cleans the records to the eye, but still left with popping and cracking even after a second dip. would I recommend it not if your looking to play any record that has popping or cracking. but as a general cleaning implement then yes I would recommend it.

Silly name, great idea, easy to improve.
Built just well enough to do the jo...b it is intended to do, it performs very well overall. My criticisms are... The crank handle is rather weak, the careless, or stoned will snap it, far too much play at the spindle interface, the disc wobbles around increasing the stress on the crank handle, shim it with some thin card. The plastic tips on the drying rack have the same effect on records as a diamond being dragged across them, be careful when using it. I have little PVC protectors heat shrunk around mine. Knosti's fluid is farcically expensive, use Vinyl shelters fluid, half the price, works just as well. The cost of spares, if you can obtain them is also farcical. Bottom line... At this price build quality should be much better, but it has no real competition. If you have a decent size record collection this is the base line device for cleaning them.

Easy to assemble, easy to us...e and a very effective way to clean records. Only downside is pouring out the fluid from the unit into the filter funnel/back into the fluid bottle always results in spillages...I'll get the hang of it soon!

An amazing product, w...orks better than I ever expected! A great cheap alternative to the professional mechanical record cleaners. Being a retired club DJ some off my records have seen better days, sweat, smoke machines, smoking, alcohol, grubby finger prints etc. With the use of the 'Knosti Disco Antistatic Generation II' and Knosti record cleaning fluid, records which I thought had seen the end of there days have come up good as new after a good clean! Absolutely fantastic! I can't recommend this product enough, a must buy for any DJ's or collectors who want to keep their vinyl in tip top condition.
