speakers are nice and thin, very lightweight. Good volume, but wish they'd have tone control.

Ok for basic computer sounds, not recommended for playing music, movies etc. The set I received were heavily worn/scuffed on the front surface of both speakers. There is a headphone jack incorporated into the unit opposite the volume control, but expect the speaker to be pulled around easily because of the light weight. If your looking for a very basic speaker, this is good, but if your concerned about appearance, I would suggest spending a few more dollars and getting the new version vs the 'factory reconditioned' whatever that means.

These speakers have almost a constant static sound or a ticking sound. There are times though when there is no static. The sound itself has almost no base to it at all and the sound reminds me of a "tin" sound. Really not worth the small amount of money spent to buy them. They look pretty good, but that's about the best I can say about them.

THE BIGGEST THING I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THESE SPEAKERS, IS THAT, THEY HAVE ONLY A MANUAL ON-OFF SWITCH THAT YOU HAVE TO ROTATE EACH TIME FOR ON OR OFF, AND YOU HAVE TO ADJUST THE VOLUME EACH TIME ALSO..... AS APPOSED TO A PUSH BUTTON STYLE FOR EASY ON-OFF, PLUS IT RETAINS THE VOLUME LEVEL WHERE YOU LEFT IT.

Would be great except it gets static noise in them otherwise I like the sleek slim design of them. Static must be some kind of wiring problem but if it weren’t for that I’d give them a 5 star rating. Static is not constant.
