I like this because it is what it does exactly as I wish. Bean to cup or ready ground. Very easy to clean, could not be simpler. The same goes for operating the machine, could not be simpler. As an avid coffee drinker as is my wife, I wish it held more water as it seems to be used in no time. However we do like our coffee so an allowance has to be made. Lastly the hot plate switches off after 30 minutes. Bad news as it is not a long enough time so there should be an optional switch to turn the hot plate on again if required. I am guessing the thinking behind that is safety, empty pots left standing on a hot plate maybe. The timer, strength control, and grinder control are all good news. All in all my opinion is best value for the price based on my research before purchase.

the grinder don't make any deferent on the coffee beans fine or not all the same sizes and if you drink plenty coffee you need to fill it to the top so you can get 5-6 cups over all not a bad machine just few silly thinks which a can cop with it

This is the second unit I've bought. First was for me, this one as a present. Great value for money product. Acceptable grind, sturdy, great features (brewing at set time), large capacity, large beans container, reusable filter, easy to clean. Cons: a bit noisy, coffee is not as hot as I'd like it to be, only 30 min hot plate - I wish you could set it yourself. Overall good thing for a day to day use, nothing fancy though.

I bought this to make coffe when we have people for dinner. The usual ones are good but not when you want 12 cups, unless you want to be a barista for 20minutes! The coffee strength, delay features are brilliant as is the stay hot facility. The fact that i just fill up the bean hopper, dial in how many cups I need, pour in the water to the pre-marked amount and the machine does the calculation is great ( especially after several glasses of wine). It's very easy to clean. The one thing I would say is if you want a mug of coffee allow for 2 cups.

Having used this for two months now and considering what we paid for it, it's amazing value. We had American visitors who are used to having coffee on tap so we bought this as a short term solution. However it is well built, so far very reliable & looks like it will last for years. We have compared it with the bean to cup machines in John Lewis. Unlike the JL models this only does filter coffee but is a fraction of the price. It takes a bit of getting used to and we have had a few pots of weak coffee. Warnings 1. You will have to find the coffee beans you like by trial and error and then adjust the grind and strength to your liking. 2. If you overfill the hopper or don't get the beans loaded in a certain way it doesn't grind enough coffee & you get a weak brew. 3. It has it's own re-usable filter so you don't actually need filter papers but this is messy when disposing of the used coffee. We are using filter papers we already have, as this make disposal easier, but have to cut or fold them to size. Would be good if you could buy filter papers made to fit the machine. BUT if you like freshly ground filter coffee don't waste your money on a machine costing £200 -£300, buy one of these.Read full review
