  SWEPT AWAY!

  Does an adequate job when my wife doesn't want to take out the c...orded vacuum. Our dog sheds all year long. We needed a tool to perform a quick pickup and this does the job on her coarse hairs and other miscellaneous debris that we usually track in from outside. We like that it's small so we keep it handy for use in a corner in our foyer by the front door. We supplement it with a cordless vacuum that can be used as either an upright, or small car vacuum, if you remove its long handle. The cordless vac shares a space next to the Bissell. Officially, I give the Bissell 4 and 1/2 stars. Reasonably price too!

  Good enough but not Great

  Easy to assemble. Light weight and easy to maneuve...r in small areas. Picks up on low pile rugs and carpets but not so good on hard tile flooring. Product is flimsy and the handle regularly needs tightening. Use caution on rug ends and edges, if strings get caught it takes a lot of time and patience to unravel and remove without causing damage. Works better than similar models from other brands, but definitely not the quality of the old style Bissels that lasted for decades even with regular everyday use. A great alternative to noisy electric vacuumes that need constant maintenance and costly bags/belts.

  Lightweight with great features

  So easy to use, empty, and clean. I love it ...Great for small areas and large, works great on floors or carpet. I have a big dog that makes allot of messes. I don't have to drag out my vacuum cleaner. It makes life happier for me and my dog.

  Keep it clean and it will keep your rugs clean

  If you clean the brush after ...each use (or sooner if you notice it putting anything back on the floor) it does a fantastic job. Light and easy to maneuver it makes it soooooo easy to keep your rugs looking like new between regular vacuuming. It is nearly perfect on low nap rugs and okay on vinyl floors. Follow this simple rule and you will love this sweeper.

  Picks up nearly everything on the first pass. Gathers hair like crazy.

  This ...unit is great. I bought the smaller one for good reason - to get in-between chair legs, tight spaces, etc. This sweeper sure picks up the mess! My wife has long hair, and the rollers and brush suffers the consequences. I'm having to tear out hair every time I empty it. If we didn't have that issue, it would be a LOT easier to clean. I love the dual-direction operation, picking up debris just as well in either direction. It's super easy to dump the trays. I'm very glad we bought this item. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the hassle of cleaning long hair from it, just like if it were vaccuum cleaner brushes. The hair not only gets picked up, but also wraps around the outer brush rollers and is very difficult to get out of that area.
