This paper accepts a huge range of media - pencils, ink, markers, watercolour, acrylic. I haven't tried it with oil paint. It is very robust and can be wet and rubbed without losing the surface. The surface is beautiful, it is thick and doesn't easily show through to the reverse. It seems pre-stretched and does not change when wet. I use it for illustrations. It is my go to paper, chosen out of many different kinds of paper over a long period. I prefer it to textured watercolour paper, which restricts you to a niche set of parameters. It has for me every quality I need in paper. I bought a jumbo block because I had bought a few thinner ones and now I know I love the paper, it's good to have a generous amount so I don't worry about spoiling a piece! Because the paper is so forgiving, I have only wasted two sheets total. When a drawing evolves, it sometimes needs radical changes to make it work, and paper of less thickness and surface quality would have to be scrapped. One improvement I could suggest would be making blocks in different proportions of rectangle. The elongated proportion is restrictive of design.Read full review
