Once you start offering up FRESH nyger, you can't have too many perches. This 20 perch flocker best accommodates during the busy feeding of fall & winter. I had over 50 birds at one time so I"m considering a second.i use three additional feeders to get the same amount of perches. When you consider the time saved filling & cleaning. the flocker is a big savings. Droll Yankees high quality plastic & design holds up well. I've had mine for about a year & run over 100#s of seed thru it. My feeder was hit by a BB. Instead of breaking, the plastic stretched around it merely leaving a deep dent. Cheap feeders will crack & split, you'll be lucky if they last year.If you've got finches in big #s. The Droll Yankees Finch Flocker is a good way to feed them.

Allows half of the seed to fall on the ground. Niger is an expensive bird seed to lose so much. Have attached screened catches. Helps!
