I wanted a cheap tripod to attach my wildlife camera to making it easier to site the camera in different scenarios. I didn,t know what to expect for only £11.99 inclusing delivery. I was pleased to see although the tripod is obviously made to a budget it comes with a built in spirit level, has a carry bag and is very lightweight and easy to use. There is enough adjustment on the legs to make it useful for my wildlife camera and my normal camera. The leg securing clips are firm but i trapped my fingers with them a couple of times before i took my time and gave them some respect whilst adjusting the legs. Even when fully locked there is a little movement on the head which means you could blur a shot if you are not careful. It looks fairly durable and is not an expensive item if it does break after a couple of years. I am very pleased with my purchase.Read full review

I have only had it for 1 day. I have set it up and it is fine. I can't make too much criticism except that it is flimsy, well it would be as it is meant for easy carrying. However I wouldn't like to use it on a windy day. Apart from that, a fair product at a fair price.

I purchased this tripod to use when out on walks. I had found that when using a 10mp camcorder hand held on zoom clarity was very poor. I now am able to use the tripod fully extended and zoom to maximum in locations reasonably sheltered from wind for still shots. In windy conditions the tripod obviously lacks weight and stability to damp out wind shudder, and on maximum zoom the camera cannot auto-focus even if you try to shield it. Using video, not on maximum zoom, good stable images with controlled panning was achieveable giving much more pleasing results on levels of zoom which would be impossible without it. Short comings:- The tilt adjustment on the camera platform is notched and is difficult to set between notches. Overall Verdict:- For a very lightweight tripod it is excellent, being well made, especially for such a low price, and reasonably compact. I would recomend it for what I use it for. Look, with something like this, you get what you buy. This could never be compared to a £50 tripod but then it doesn’t per port to. However, for the price, I’m very pleased with it. It’s very light, reasonably stable in use and, although it only reaches about 5 ft when fully extended, I knew that before buying. It serves my purpose very well as I wanted an extremely lightweight tripod for carrying when cycling. Although not perfect, it’s a well made and useful piece of kit and I’m happy to recommend it. By the way, good service from supplier.

This tripod is very easy to assemble with legs that extend and lock into place with sturdy clips, the plate easily screws the spotter scope we use to spot planes so is secure and sturdy, would definitely recommend this item.
