I have been looking for a new screen for my sons Galaxy S4 for some time (usual teenaged child...not quite as careful with possessions as us parents might like). Anyway, ordered the screen and it arrived within 2 days. This can be done by anyone from a professional phone repairer to someone who is confident in their DIY skills...having said that, watching 'teardown' videos on YouTube would be an advantage to those who don't repair/replace screens for a living. The video I watched in this case was made by a 'youtuber' called LE55ONS. Very easy to follow and showed every single step needed for both disassembly and reassembly.. Having watched the video I began the task of replacing the screen. There are no two ways about it, it's more complicated than wiring a plug, and you have to have good eyesight as some of the parts and connectors are really small. However, if you're prepared to put in the time and effort, it is possible to do. It took me about half an hour....you might do it quicker or take longer, but it's important not to rush the job. The satisfaction you'll have after successfully replacing the screen is well worth the effort involved.... Home button on the bottom are not lit as the original screens are - they are very dull. The light from these LEDs seeps into the screen area when looking at a certain angle. The pictre quality of the screen itself somewhat comprimisef and not as per genuine samsung. But it is cheap and you get what you pay for. Overall good value if you plan on doing this installation yourself.

Paid just under 40 pounds for this thinking it was good quality priced received it and had it fitted to find its a faulty part to which I've no phone still have messaged company to see if can resolve this but no reply at all, feel ripped off as trusting the company to have wasted money on a part that dose not work!

It works, but the glass is too fragile comparing with the original screen, it was cracking just by rubbing the dirt over it. The colors are off with a blueish tint and the touch buttons does not work for me. I repaired the phone but I no longer use it because of the issues I have.

Terrible quality of this LCD Frame. Cheap materials, touch buttons (menu and back) doesn't working and this frame is more thicker than original. I don't recommend buying.
