I'm a bass player and have never owner a capo, but I wanted one to aid in setting up my basses. For example, you put a capo on fret 1 to measure the relief on the neck in case the truss rod needs to be adjusted. It's great for this, but I also find that it's useful to move the key of a bass part that you have learned using open strings (like Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain").

A great piece of guitar equipment. Easy to use, well made with a good powder coating in a variety of colours. The spring clamp is strong enough to work, but along with the shape and return cushions, it will not damage your guitar. Overall, an easy to use capo, with great flexibilty and all at the right price.

Not had this long but for the price it seems sturdy and practical. The spring mechanism ensures it fits tightly onto the neck with no slipping.
