Once you pick up iPad 2, it'll be hard to put down. It's thinner and lighter, so it feels even more comfortable in your hands. And it makes surfing the web, checking email, watching movies, and reading books so natural, you might forget there's incredible technology under your fingers. Two powerful cores in one A5 chip mean iPad can do twice the work at once. You'll notice the difference when you're surfing the web, watching movies, making FaceTime video calls, gaming, and going from app to app to app. Multitasking is smoother, apps load faster, and everything just works better. With up to nine times the graphics performance, gameplay on iPad is even smoother and more realistic. And faster graphics help apps perform better - especially those with video. You'll see it when you're scrolling through your photo library, editing video with iMovie, and viewing animations in Keynote. Even with this thinner and lighter design, iPad has the same amazing battery life. The power-efficient A5 chip and iOS keep battery life from fading away, so you can get carried away. You'll see two cameras on iPad - one on the front and one on the back. They may be tiny, but they're a big deal. They're designed for FaceTime video calling, and they work together so you can talk to your favourite people and see them smile and laugh back at you. The front camera puts you and your friend face-to-face. Switch to the back camera during your video call to share where you are, who you're with, or what's going on around you. When you're not using FaceTime, let the back camera roll if you see something movie-worthy. It's HD, so whatever you shoot is a mini-masterpiece. And you can take wacky snapshots in Photo Booth. It's the most fun a face can have. iPad is one big, beautiful display - 9.7 inches of high-resolution photos, movies, web pages, books, and more. LED backlighting makes everything you see remarkably crisp, vivid, and bright. Even in places with low light, like an airplane. And there's no wrong way to hold iPad. It's designed to show off everything in portrait and landscape, so with every turn (even upside down), the display adjusts to fit. Because it uses a display technology called IPS (in-plane switching), it has a wide, 178° viewing angle. Hold it up to someone across the room, or share it with someone sitting next to you, and everyone gets a brilliant view. Technology is at its best when it feels completely natural, almost like there's no technology at all. That's multi-touch on iPad. You use your fingers to do everything, so everything you do - surfing the web, typing email, reading books, and swiping through photos - is easier and a lot more fun. How does it work? When your fingers touch the display, it senses them using electrical fields. Then it instantly transforms your taps, swipes, pinches, and flicks into lifelike actions. The fun starts fast. Pick up your iPad, press the Home button and it wakes from sleep instantly. That's because iPad features fast, efficient, and reliable flash storage that lets you access data quickly. So everything effortlessly springs to life. iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G includes Wi-Fi connectivity as well as 3G connectivity. 3G uses cellular signals - the same signals your cell phone uses - to connect to the Internet. So if you're somewhere without Wi-Fi, such as outdoors on a camping trip or on the road, you can still surf the web, check email, or get directions. With the built-in accelerometer, you can rotate iPad to portrait or

Additional Technical Informations
Just under one year ago, Apple shocked the computing world with a 9.7-inch touchscreen tablet that few truly expected.
Some called the original Apple iPad a large-format iPhone. Others berated the name and made jokes that were not remotely funny.
The early reviews were marginal at best – we handed the device a solid four stars. Technical folks decried the lack of Adobe Flash and the missing cameras.

Now, 60,000 apps later (according to Apple, who counts every conceivable option) and just a few weeks after the first real Android 3.0 tablet contender hit the streets (Motorola Xoom), the iPad 2 has sauntered onto the playing field.
You can check out TechRadar's iPad 2 review video below:
Some expected pure gold: a tablet that runs as fast as a laptop and weighs less than a newspaper
Yet, the reality with the iPad 2 is that Apple has taken an iterative approach. In many ways, the iPad 2 is a crowd pleaser because it does not rock the boat.
At 241mm tall, 186mm wide, and 8.6mm thick, the iPad 2 is just a hair smaller than the original iPad and it's thinner than the iPhone 4. It has a curved edge that makes it look a bit more 'space age' and, surprisingly, easier to grasp because you can curve your fingers more easily around the bezel.
The most dramatic change is the weight. At 680 grams, the iPad 2 is 80g lighter than the first iPad. That is about the same weight as a juicy red apple (curious, eh?). Yet, in using the device, it feels strangely lighter than it really is.
Apple has made a second-gen iPad that feels lighter and more nimble, and its newfound mobility means it has lost the annoying heft of the original model.
Meanwhile, the Motorola Xoom, at 730 grams, now feels like the tank that it is. (More about that later, because we do prefer the speedy processor on the Xoom that handles 3D maps and games.)
One other observation about the design: compared to the iPhone 4, the iPad 2 feels a bit more like a plastic plate (the back is actually metal) as though it really needs a protective case. Part of the reason for this 'cheap plastic' impression is that the device is one-third thinner than the original and 15 per cent lighter.
Overall, the design is a stunner – it's brilliant. The aesthetics are much improved, although not everything about the iPad 2 is so equally impressive.
I wanted an iPad to replace the Acer B1 Android tablet I had, the Acer was rubbish, kept crashing run slow when it did decided to run, so as I had owned an original MK1 iPad I thought I would buy another iPad , so looked on eBay and saw this used iPad 2, I bid on it and won it.
I like this one as is has a built in camera, and is a lot quicker than the Acer I had, I have had no problems with it at all. Switch it on and away you go, lovely, I like the way Apple does things. The only thing I dislike about my iPad is you can't upgrade the storage space on it, and also that you have to have adapters for connecting a digital camera of a USB flash drive, but these to me are only niggles,
The build quality is superb built like a tank, not plasticky like like some of the other brands of tablets such as Acer and some Samsungs etc, so the Apple iPad for me Compares very favourably with the other tablet computer manufacturers, so I will stay with Apple iPads from now on
I bought my Ipad 2 for ease of use and mainly for browsing.
1. Ease of use and portability.
2. Easy app installation and loads to choose.
3. RSS feeders are excellent for news, magazines etc
4. Lots of pod-casts and audio-books on various topics
5. Excellent battery life, 10 hours- biggest plus point
6. Excellent finish and quality as with all Apple products
7. Great fun to use.
1. No USB port
2. Need to connect to PC with Itunes for checking free disk space, deleting pod-casts, movies etc
3. "Limited" Multi-tasking
4. Limited ability to download files from website with Ipad Safari browser
5. Cannot view video content on websites with Safari browser like flash content
6.Does not replace laptop. You still need a Laptop or Desktop as main computer for work/homework doc's etc.
Wow... From the sleek design, to the superb user interface, the iPad 2 really is a smart piece of kit.
Not a huge improvement on the original (unless you really want to Face Time people), but if you don't already have an iPad, then you should invest in the iPad 2.
The lightness and size make this ideal for taking out and about with you, though the same can be said of other tablet products. What really makes the iPad stand out is its reliability and the number of fantastic free apps out there which mean you don't have to spend any more of your hard earned cash to get even more fun stuff on the device.
Yes, at £399 its a pricey bit of kit, but you wont be disappointed in your investment.
I'm no tech/geek freak... just someone who likes things simple, clear and easy to use. The Apple iPad is all these things and more.
I bought this product as an easier addition to my web access, unlike my PC it can be switched on immediately and is very portable within the home. I purchased a samsung 10.1 tablet a few months ago but it doesn't feel so slick between web pages and doesn't have any airplay abilities which I needed to link to my stereo system. I can't say I have experienced anything negative with the ipad, it really is a joy to use.
I bought this as I wanted a tablet to use rather than going on the computer all the time. having used for awhile I think that 90% of my computer time will be on this. I am glad I found a decent IPad from a very good seller so perhaps I was lucky as its just like new and the ease of use is amazing. OK I havent cracked it all yet but I am well on the way. Its lovely using a touch screen and wondered how I managed in past with clicking and mousing this I Pad is so simple and quick. OK I bought the 9 inch and its not something one would always carry about though the weight and size are not really an issue I guess. I have nohands on experience with other Tablets though my Nephew as a Kobo and I would rate that inferior to the I Pad.
I recently bought a Android based tablet pc which cost just under £57 which was probably good value for the money. I sent it back as it was virtually unusable.
I then decided to buy an I pad at 5 times the price but what a difference! It is fast and slick to use. I wondered whether it needed some kind of Internet protection like Norton Internet security but apparently it doesn't.
The reason for this from what I can make out is because it won't allow you to download things like mp3's, a potential source for collecting viruses, also it does'nt support flash probably for the same sort of reasons.
All of this means that you have to use Apples downloads which you have to pay their prices for, so this is something to bear in mind.
I do like the button free keyboard, my wife's laptop has a problem after a couple of years with one or two of the keys playing up, presumably this won't happen with a touchscreen.
This was an Excellent choice and my Daughter is over the moon. have an apple a day and this product he Dr away its work for us via and very good value for money.Thank you ebay for the 10% off code
bottom line yes i will say go for one of this!! and you cant go wrong
