2nd hand router, cheap as chips, less than £4 including postage, turned out to be be an ex Plusnet router.
Upgraded to latest firmware. Used Plusnet firmware as I'm currently a Plusnet user, but generic firmware is available if you search for it. Works great as far as I can tell from first 7 days use.
Originally changed my old router for this one due to recurring problems with intermittantly losing the lease time connection with my Apple iPhone 3g and then later on, my iPhone4... (symptoms....still connected to router but no data transfer)
This Thomson router sorted the problem out.
Bought this router to work with my Plusnet connection.
Simple, 'works out of the box' router,. Is somewhat limited in its settings, but that can be a good thing.
Setup interface is basic and unsophisticated, but does the job.
Wireless range is average, but N band is a big plus for a router this cheap.
Would recommend for Plusnet customers.
