Dagon (DVD, 2004)
After the watching the brilliant Re-animator and From beyond films I decided to track down Dagon, another Stuart Gordon horror story based on another H.P.Lovecraft story. I wasn't disappointed. Full of Gordon's signature shocks and fast driven storyline and original monster designs. I loved every minute of it. There is nothing to dislike about this film. Would recommend to any horror buff.

This series just gets better and better. Easily the best drama to hit our shores. This hard hitting season is the best so far. The addition of Forest Whittaker as the internal affairs officer is a real master stroke by creator Chris Ryan. He shows here why he is easily one of the best actors working today. The Mist (DVD)
This film is fantastic. From the mind of Stephen King and the director of Shawshank Redemption Frank Darabont this is a classic. Based on King's short story of the same name, which isn't half as good as the film. In the story the monsters are prehistoric dinosaurs while in Darabont's version they are more H.P.
