What a cracking album this is. Most of the songs were written by Billy Thorpe whose vocals with Bekka Bramlett are quite superb and give the album its driving force. With Mick Fleetwood on percussion and some superb musicans in attendance the music fairly crackles along. Billy's guitar playing is strong, powerful and musically sound and this to me is perfect driving music. I wanted to purchase this album, which is basically two albums together in one package, because a) I like the Allman Brothers and b)I had neither of them in my collection. Two for one seemed good to me. The driving solos are nearly as good as ever and the overall sound is pretty good. However there is something missing as the overall package does not have enough 'ommph.' It is a bit shallow. I am not sure what to make of this album as it's a bit of unexpected mish-mash. Aynsley's guitar playing is as good as ever but it really did not excite my. I suppose it's just a bit too slow and mediocre for my tastes.
