Excellent series to buy for Columbo fans! Some episodes not often seen on tv, so excellent for Columbo fans.

Dark fire by C. J. Sansom (Paperback, 2005)
If Tudor history interests you, then you must read this!! Although in a series of books it doesn't hurt to read out of sync, the main character attends different mysteries and intrigues in each!! So right from the first few pages a child is murdered by another child or is he murdered? Just a superb book, C J Sansom must have lived in 16th century England in a previous life to write so vividly about some atrocious and barbaric means and methods our not so distant ancestors lived by!! ...

Dissolution by C. J. Sansom (Paperback, 2007)
Just a truly superb book the first in a series by C.J. Sansom, set in Tudor times, and involving murder, mysteries and intrigues. C.J. Sansom must have lived in the 16th century in a previous life to be able to write so vividly about the atrocious way our ancestors dealt out law and order. Try it you'll never regret being introduced to C.J.Sansom! Fantastic!
