Hellboy (DVD, 2005, 2-Disc Set)
I thought the film when it was first shown was genious and led the way for other films similar such as X-men. Mr Perlman plays a good role and has the way withall to emulate the sarcastic overtones that you would imagine of a Demon, but in such a way that you can empathise with his circumstance. Living with two other 'freaks' as they are termed and yet creating a dream world inside his head where he and his fellow freak are doomed to remain in captivity due to their outlandish appe...

In the second outing for the new look Mr Bond it is certainly trying hard to live up to its predecessor 'Casino Royale'. Unfortunately, even with the blasts and punches flying, it seems to leave you wanting more action. However, it never materialises and at the end of the film you find yourself wondering what you have just watched. The action is good, but by Bond standard it is comparatively weak. I personally feel that the new director should have taken more time to study the last...

The Homer Book by Matt Groening (Hardback, 2004)
I bought this dvd having watched it previously for the reason that some dvds tend to grow on you the more you watch them. I was pleased that it indeed did that. A slightly longer version of the popular TV show, but none the less funny. Although it has to be said that I have heard mixed reviews from others, it is fair to say that you have to be a simpsons fan to truly enjoy the film. If only they would make a sequal, I wonder what they would call that? 'not another simpsons movie, D&apos...

Buying products from China, Singapore, Japan
Dear member, I would just like to pass on my concerns over products which are for sale from these countries.  In a recent transaction I was almost duped into purchasing a portable in-car dvd player from what appeared to be a reputable seller from Germany (MOLLYPEICK). Upon further investigation it was found that this was a spurious address and that the actual item which would have been bought was actually an oil painting; but which the seller had hijacked the original sellers web descr...

Items which are misleading in their details
Hi Members, this is another of my guides written to help those of you who may be new to ebay and what it entails regarding buying from other members. This will also be useful to regular members who are SEASONED buyers alike. This review encompasses the sites which are cropping up on ebay which are selling items which they do not use a definitive condition for; but which they classify as 'GRADED'. This almost certainly means that they have been a mail order return that another person who has...

Cheap as 'CHIPS'
This is a small guide to all of you who infrequently use ebay to purchase bargains which seem too good to be true. So first of all to those of you who do this BEWARE !!  The usual comment you hear is 'if it is too good to be true then it probably is!!'. Some of you will probably bid for items which in the real world you would be shocked to see in a shop window for 0.99p. Infact most of you would probably walk past £1 shops knowing the quality of items found inside. So why opt for the s...
