Lovely solid silver basting spoon, hallmarked London 1844 and with a maker’s mark that looks like WE. This spoon also has an extra hallmark - that of the young Queen Victoria. All the marks are clear and easy to make out. The spoon is in remarkable condition for its age with no dings or dents. There are a few slight surface scratches but these are to be expected with an item that’s 175 years old. There’s also a set of initials on the handle that look like WJE or something similar. Dimensions: 32cm long, 5.5cm wide (at widest point of the bowl). Please note that this item is also available for sale at Hebden Bridge Antiques Centre. Any questions please ask.
