The purse has had little usage so it is still in excellent condition for its age which I hope you can see in the photographs. It has a nice pleated crepe style front and on the back a loped piece of fabric which I think would have been used to pin a corsage to.
One is a leather note & stamp case / wallet and one is a small leather coin purse. The note case says it is British made. The coin purse has gold lettering which has rubbed but I can make out the word "leather".
Inside it has slots for a £5 note, driving liscence, as well as a popper fixed swivel holdr for comb and nail file. The comb is sadly missing, but the nail file is the original 'Stainless - Made In England' one.
Delightful Lizard Handbag dating from 1940's to 1950's in fabulous condition as you can see from the photographs. The Suede lined interior is immaculate and it appears to has hardly been used if at all.
Not sure of the origenal use of this item but i am sure you will have the perfect use for it dating i think to early mid century period a brown leather with central devide inside and draw string fastener.
