A lovely and simple pair of retro Hornsea Pottery tea and coffee lidded canisters/jars/storage containers. Using the HEIRLOOM shapes, the STRIPES range of coordinated kitchen and tableware featured thin vertical red, green, yellow, blue or brown lines on a white ground with the contents printed on the front.

Apparently the Str ipes range was designed by John Clappison and produced by Hornsea between 1984 and 1986. It uses the Heirloom shape, but with an updated 1980s design. A ceramic jam pot made in England by Hornsea.
HORNSEA POTTERY. 1 Cappuccino b lack and gold CUP & SAUCER. The gold trim and lettering is bright and unworn. The saucer has a few usage scratch marks to the well and a couple of minor glaze pitting spots, second quality.
