ANTIQUE PURSE 1850s EXQUISITE.

Very minor marks/ spots inside but still in perfect workable condition. Used:An item that has been previously worn. Item specifics.

Made in an Egyptian Revival style typical of the period. It is embossed with a carry handle. The lower part of the case has 4 sections of which one is zipped, one with a press stud, 2 open and 2 pockets.

A little bit of social history here. A superb weathered leather satchel. Plenty of age to it. Covered in amazing ink scribbles which adds to the piece (in my opinion). I haven't attempted to clean it, but imagine that a leather feed would bring it up a treat.

No gouges or tears that I can see. Supple but high quality thick leather with suede inside. No marks or stains or tears on interior suede. Small front zipped pocket, roomy zipped back pouch and interior pocket.

Superb and very RARE 1956 GPO Gladstone bag. Perfect for Period T.V, Film or theatre productions. The locks etc have rusted but work fine,there is no key so it doesn't lock. Great prop for any old style antique or gents outfitters.

Catch is in working order, open and closes fine when lock lined up but sorry no key. Shows signs of ware but still a lovely looking case. Has some dark spots which may polish out.
