    This 18th Century English porcelain Butterboat was made at the Worcester Factory around 1758-65. It has leaf moulding on the outside and is decorated in underglaze blue in a floral pattern, known as the " Butterboat Mansfield pattern." There is a workmans mark in underglaze blue on the base. A similar Butterboat is illustrated on page 193 of "Worcester Blue & White Porcelain 1751-1790" by Branyan,French & Sandon. There has been some restoration to a chip on the rim, no other damage. Approx size: 3.5" (8.5cm) long, 2.5" (6.5cms) wide,and 1.25" (3.5cm) high,.

    This beautifully decorated 19th Century porcelain Plate was made by Minton, it has the makers mark impressed on the base, together with the letter "P" and what appears to be a year mark. It dates to between 1862-71 but I cannot make out the exact year. The decoration is of a handpainted bunch of Wallflowers in the centre and single Rose heads in small medallions on the turquise border. There is also heavily gilded decoration on the border which gives a textured effect. The plate is in good condition, no chips,cracks or restoration. The decoration is in good order. Approx size:9.25" (23.5 cms) in diameter.

    Here is a truly superb HAND PAINTED finest china MATCHING COFFEE CAN & SAUCER. I do not know who made it but there are a couple of painted marks under the base of the can as shown in the photos.The can has a very distinctive handle.I have seen a German can and a French one which has very similar so I have listed under continental.I have also seen a Bloor Derby can with a similar handle so I will leave it to you good experts out there to decide.It is however just truly wonderful quality.

    This super late 18th Century English porcelain Tea Bowl and Saucer were made at the Worcester Factory around 1775-90. The Worcester underglaze blue open crescent mark is on the base of both pieces. They are decorated in underglaze blue in a pattern known as "The Milkmaid Pattern". The pattern is illustrated on page 268 of "Worcester Blue & White Porcelain 1751-1790" by Branyan,French & Sandon. There is a chip to the glaze and a tiny nibble on the side of the foot rim of the Tea Bowl, no other damage or restoration . There is some wear to the gilding on the rim of the tea bowl from use.​ Approx size: Tea Bowl 3" (7.5cm) across the top rim and 1.75" (4cm) high, Saucer 4.75" (12cms) in diameter.

  • 18thC Tournai Porcelain Sauceboat C1765-75 Blue & White Ronda Pattern

    This pretty 18th Century porcelain two handled Sauceboat was made at the Tournai Factory in Belgium, it dates to around 1770. It has decorative moulding around the top on the outside and is handpainted blue & white Chinese style decoration of Peony and Prunus, the pattern is known as Ronda Pattern. The pseudo Chinese style underglaze blue mark used at Tournai is on the base, there is also an incised letter "J".The Sauce boat has some chipping to the top rim and a short hairline crack across the bottom terminal of one handle. There is a faint hairline crack running down from the top rim to the base on the inside with a small flake to the body on the line of the crack. There is a chip to the foot rim. The Sauce boat displays well.​ .
