Bought by my late parents on holiday in Scotland in the late 70s. Always been on display. In perfect condition but with a little cracking to glaze in keeping with age. Does not detract. Intended for milk to pour onto porridge. 2" in height.
On offer is a charming pillar vase with a brown wax resist design made by Aviemore Pottery Scotland. It's an attractive design, decorated with a light brown glaze, with a wax resist design around the middle typical of the Aviemore Pottery, while an off-white glaze is used inside, we believe it was made around the mid to late 1970s. The vase is 16cm tall by 9cm in diameter at the rim and is in good condition free from crazing, chips or cracks. On the underside is the Aviemore pottery mark and the unpackaged weight is 376 grams.
Castlewynd Studios (Highland China) plate made to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the National Trust Scotland 1931-1981, featuring 6 scenic panels of properties and estates. Very good boxed condition with leaflet, and integral hanging hook.
