Barbour Women's Biker Jackets

People have turned to Barbour for decades when it comes to finding a trusty, made-to-last jacket. Barbour women's biker jackets are often top of the list with many because they are so durable. They use wax on most of their jackets, although their motorcycle styles also include quilted and leather varieties.

Popular biker styles in leather and quilted ranges

Barbour biker jackets typically feature more ornate design features. Some are better for shorter and taller statures, depending on their length and cut.

Cropped leather bikers with quilting can suit smaller frames, and help structure a layered outfit. Longer quilted versions have the added benefit of keeping you better covered in wet weather, and offer a more practical, breathable overcoat. Many of these jackets are lightweight enough to wear in warmer weather as an added bonus.

Wax jackets with a biker twist

Traditional wax bikers by Barbour like the B.Intl Polarquilt, the Utility Wax Jacket, the Sprocket Cove, and the Ladies International Wax Jacket. They range in length and cut, some like the International style have a motif on the breast or are more tailored than others.

Longer styles like the B.Intl Switch are particularly useful if you are looking for a jacket to complement any outfit. But they all have the added benefit of being completely waterproof.

Looking after your wax jacket

Reproofing and cleaning your wax jacket is essential if you want it to last. These items of clothing are designed to wear well for years. But there is a little maintenance involved if you want to keep them looking their best, not to mention staying waterproof year after year.

Cleaning them with hot water or in a washing machine is a big no-no, as it will strip the wax. Instead, get Barbour themselves to reproof it. Or buy some of their wax and do it yourself at home.
