The unique thing about this marvellous pot is the beautiful shape of the inner rim. Its signed with a three character mark on the base. The item is in fine order. The crack is a result from the glaze firing.
The artistically arranged scene, sits beautifully alongside other scholar desk objects and collections, was made to rest and wash calligraphy brushes. Exact age unknown but the item is believed to date from the Qing Dynasty, up to the first part of last century.
