This is a delightful studio pottery rabbit money box from the Briglin factory. The factory mark is on the base. The rabbit has a lovely brown toned textured body, to denote the fur, with a pale beige face and front.

A Briglin pottery dish. The base is signed with an impressed 'Briglin'. A charming little dish decorated with 3 incised fish. 11.7 cm long x 10.5 cm wide x 2.5 cm high. If you would like to collect in person, cash on collection is fine.

The teapot is in generally good condition but there is a little glaze crazing inside and to the outer base. Length is about 16.5cm (6.5”), including the spout whilst height is about 9cm (3.5”) plus the cane handle.
Briglin Pottery founded in 1948 by Brigitte Goldschmidt (later known as Brigitte Appleby) and Eileen Lewenstein in. Their object was to produce well designed, attractive pots. Recognizable from its dark earthenware body, muted colors, white glaze and wax resist designs.
This is a very sweet little pair of miniature animals by Briglin Pottery. One is a Dougal type dog, the other is a lovely brown rabbit with delightfully droopy ears. Both pieces are stamped with the factory mark to the base.
