  • Antique Regency/William IV Engraved Glass Ice Plate c1830

This sale is for a rare antique glass ice plate, dating to around 1830. Used for serving cold desserts it is engraved with a lovely grapevine motif around the rim. Measuring just over 6" wide it is in very good condition with just the wear and tear (scuffs, light scratches etc) from use you would expect to see on a piece of this age, and minor nibbling around the base. Glass plates of this date do not generally survive, so this fairly uncommon engraved example is a must for the collector of antique British glass. Please see my Ebay shop for more antique glass, Oriental, Indian, and Islamic antiques and antiquities.
