    Hand painted, antique "Loving Jug" made in Staffordshire in 1826. Floral decoration and monogrammed with date within a heart. One hairline crack which is tight and secure and the piece has survived in spite of this occurring in its distant past. Some wear to high spots of decoration, No other issues or repairs evident.     This porcelain platter , was made by Chamberlain Worcester , circa 1825 . It is decorated with the two quails pattern , with two quails in the centre within a border of chinese vases , pink flowers within a cobalt blue border and enriched with gilding . It measures 12 1/4" x 10 1/4" in diameter . There is a short fine crack on the back edge of about 1" in length , this is difficult to see on the face and there is a chip on the edge , as shown , the gilding is good with just slight wear .

There are some large body cracks which run around the body , these have been restored to a high standard and can only be seen when held to a strong light . It has a moulded strap fluting and scrolls and is decorated with handpainted blue and white Chinese landscapes . It stands at 3 1/2" high and measures 6 1/2" in diameter from the spout to the handle . There is a crack which runs from below the base of the handle , runs across the base and up below the spout stopping about 1" from the top and another which runs on the bottom edge of the base , of about 1 3/4" in length , there are also two small chips on the top edge , as shown . This is the actual sauceboat shown in the book on sauceboats , by Nicholas Panes , on page 204 figure 337 .   • WORCESTER HANDPAINTED FANCY BIRDS FRENCH SHAPE TEAPOT C1785

    This porcelain teapot , was made at Worcester , circa 1785 and bears the Worcester crescent mark on the base . It is the french shape and is handpainted by George Davis with the fancy birds pattern , with smaller birds in flight around them and swags of husks , painted in turquoise and black suspended from a cobalt blue border and enriched with gilding . It stands at 5" high and measures 7 3/4" from the spout to the handle . It is in good condition with just some small chips on the tip of the spout and inside the cover recess , the cover has a chip on the underside and some small nibbles to the flower petals , the gilding is good .
