Camera Filter Case

Keeping all your expensive photographic equipment safe and secure is important. A specially designed camera filter case will enable you to do just that. It also gives you a reliable on the go solution.

The right case for you will depend on the camera lenses you need on the day. They range from sturdier, hard bodied cases, to softer, more portable options that can be carried in a number of different ways. Top brands include Hama, Lowepro and Sigma.

Hard cases

Hard cases often offer a shockproof, water resistant and dustproof way of protecting your filters, whether that's in the studio or in transit.

Hermitshell's hard storage carrying travel case is made for Canon equipment, and can fit your 250mm DSLR lens kit. It also has a removable carry strap. Alternatively, the brand's EVA hard travel storage Case for Canon EF fits lenses between 70-200mm and offers a sturdy option for storing and carrying your kit.

Compact and mini cases

Compact cases and mini pouches come in soft shells, usually with reliable, waterproof and wipe clean materials. They're a lighter-weight way of transporting your kit, and they make it quick and easy to reach for the filter you need while you're out.

Products include the Lowepro 100 S&F filter pouch for rectangle or square format filters, with an internal folder system for easy organisation. A Lee filters field pouch can accommodate up to 10 lenses which can be organised in dedicated slots.

Waist packs

Waist packs are usually smaller, with less capacity, but they're a great way of taking the minimal amount of equipment when you need to travel light. They are also an extra-secure way or carrying your kit, and give you quick access.

Options like the K&F filter pouch can hold up to 6 lenses for 77mm, along with 3 memory cards and your essential personal items. Similarly, the Tamrac MBX5397 belt and MX5388 filter pouch can fit up to 5 filters in their cases.
