  • Poole Pottery Streamline Shape Cream Jug Glazed in Twintone C84 Magnolia Colour

    On offer is a vintage streamline shape, demitasse cream jug, decorated with the Twintone C84 magnolia colour, made by Poole Pottery Dorset, England, in the 1930s. John Adams designed the streamline pattern in 1935. The jug is finished in a solid magnolia glaze inside and out. It is 6.5cm in diameter at the rim tapering down to 4cm at the base, by 6.5cm deep and is in good condition free from chips or cracks, just some light crazing to the glaze as is to be expected on items of this age. On the underside is the Poole impressed mark. The unpacked weight is 79 grams.

  • Poole Pottery Traditional B-F Floral Pattern Open Sugar Bowl circa 1920s-1930s

    On offer is a vintage shape 286, open sugar bowl decorated with the B-F floral pattern, made by Poole Pottery Dorset England, between 1926 & 1934. The B-F pattern is two floral sprigs one on each side glazed in red, yellow, green and blue, around the rim is a series of blue dots. The pot is 8cm tall by 7cm in diameter and is in good condition free from chips or cracks, with a little light crazing to the glaze inside. On the underside are the impressed Poole mark No 19 used between 1924 and 1950, the incised shape number 286, painted on are the pattern letters BF and the artist’s initial mark used by Gladys Jeffery who worked at Poole between 1926 & 1934. The unpackaged weight is 160 grams.
