On offer is a vintage coffee mug decorated with the circles pattern made by Cinque Ports Pottery, (The Monastery Rye) Rye Sussex, England, in the late 1960s or perhaps early 1970s. David Sharp with his friend George Gray set up Cinque Port Pottery in 1958. The cup is decorated with a Circular design in shades of brown with a white interior, made using white earthenware clay. The mug is 8.5cm deep by 6cm in diameter demitasse size and is in good condition free from damage chips or cracks, a little light crazing to the white glaze commensurate with age and use; on the base is the Cinque Ports Pottery mark. The unpackaged weight is 174 grams.
