One is decorated with a blue print of the willow pattern and measure 3 /16" in diameter , and is in good condition , the last is possibly Minton and is decorated with an iron red print of the hermit pattern , it measures 2 7/8" in diameter and is in good condition . It is decorated with pattern number 1268 , which is marked on the bases of the other pieces from this service . It is decorated with a transfer-print , that has been handpainted over . It stands at 4 7/8" high and measures 6 3/4" in diameter . There is a large flat chip , on the edge of the base , the cover has a fine crack of about 2 3/4" in length , which runs from the edge to the centre , the finial has a repaired break on the edge , and some staining on the underside .     Antique Middlesbrough Pottery green and white transferware lidded soup tureen with ladle A delicate floral bird pattern somewhat similar to Asiatic Pheasant or Toile Matching soup tureen, lid, ladle but NO PLATE STAND The only piece marked is the back of the ladle, MIDDLE... POTTERY with the anchor mark, impressed Middlesbrough Pottery had a relatively short manufacturing period between about 1834-1852 Very good condition for its age, fine crazing throughout, a little discoloured generally, one small, old chip to the underside of the lid (3x2mm) Many tiny flaws from the manufacturing process including a small split at the base of the ladle handle No damage, cracks or restoration that I can perceive The tureen is 18.5cms from handle to handle and about 11.5cms tall The ladle is 17cms long with its bowl being just under 6cms in diameter.
