Fishnet Clothing for Women

Traditionally used for hosiery, fishnet fabric is also used to create clothing. It is considered quite a sensuous fabric that helps to define the silhouette and can be paired with many styles. The collection of fishnet clothing for women is available in a range of colours and although fishnet is usually matte in appearance, it can also come in sheen finishes.

Fishnet lingerie and nightwear

In addition to hosiery, fishnet is often used in lingerie and nightwear. Full body stockings are a fashionable and practical option of fishnet lingerie. They are available in many styles of fishnet such as floral, opaque and striped.

There are fishnet babydolls and basques also, which add something fun to your lingerie collection. Many are made entirely of fishnet, whilst others incorporate fishnet as either panels or sections of the designs. There are variations in the width of fishnet too, with them varying between small and wide eyed fishnet, depending on your preference.

Fishnet activewear

The use of fishnet in women's activewear is first and foremost for practicality, but it also offers a stylish addition. It is often placed next to the skin and is made of such materials as polypropylene, merino wool and nylon. It is often used in apparel for all types of activities. For instance, it is available in attire for cold weather, outdoor sports such as hiking and mountaineering, as it encourages the insulation of air for warmth.

However, fishnet is also used in activewear for more high intensity sports to help transport moisture away from the skin. Whilst these offer practical benefits, there are items of activewear that do come with fishnet solely for aesthetics.

Dresses, skirts and jackets

Similarly to activewear, there are benefits to fishnet in clothing such as jackets, as it helps to maintain the heat for extra warmth. However, styles such as bomber jackets can also use it for stylish detailing in panels or layers.

Fishnet is particularly stylish in dresses and skirts. It can be used for panels on the shoulder and hem of the dress to add extra definition and length to the dress or skirt, panels down the side to define the curvature of the dress, or full length fishnet, which when paired with a crop top and pencil skirt underneath, creates a stylish outfit.
