Frog Hair Fishing Line & Leaders

Frog Hair fishing lines and leaders use molecular alteration, helping you to produce higher quality casts and, in-turn, increasing your fishing capability. Frog Hair uses a material that offers flexibility, shock resistance and strength to enable quicker and more accurate hook-ups.

Tippet and leader material

Frog hair fishing lines use tippet and leader materials that have been developed to strengthen the materials structure through molecular alteration. Using Gamma's processing technology, the lines uses a high molecular weight PVDF fluorocarbon. By doing this, the material changes its properties and becomes flexible, shock resistant, strong and unique. This provides the user with accurate casts and greater fishing capabilities.

Supple butt

Frog Hair leaders come in two types, the first is supple butt. The supple butt Frog Hair leader gives you tighter loops and greater knot strength. This type of lead offers amazing toughness and built-in shock resistance that allows you to make comfortable yet strong casts.

Stiff butt

The stiff butt frog hair leader offers a heavier and stiffer butt in comparison to the supple butt. It also provides an ultra supple tippet but also has some of the same features as the supple butt including: superior knot strength, amazing toughness and built-in shock resistance.

Think carefully when choosing a fishing line , as it is important that you check which type of leader you prefer, the supple butt or stiff butt. With the selections available, there is one major feature that varies in choice and this is the length of the line. Frog Hair lines range from 25m up to 100m.

Frog Hair fishing lines are fast becoming an increasingly popular line for use with fly fishing rods . With its GAMMA exclusive processing technology, this molecular weight PVDF fluorocarbon material is the next big thing to fish with as it offers strength and flexibility.
