The date is printed in the top margin which shows its authenticity.This print is actually over 160 years old a genuine Antique.Size of page is approx 12"x 16"(300 mm x 400 mm).
This is a very well preserved steel-lined etching dating to 1838, taken from a 1st edition of Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. Measuring 16cm by 10cm (and 36.5cm by 28.5cm in the frame) this engraving is in almost perfect condition with just some slight toning to the paper. The older glass-fronted frame is also in good condition.
