HTC Desire X
Considered as somewhat of a mid range version between the HTC One V and the HTC Desire C, the HTC Desire X is an inexpensive smartphone with plenty of innovative features. The handset has a more robust look in comparison with the One V and is made of rubberised plastic instead of polycarbonate.
The HTC Desire X features a 4 inch LCD display on the front with three touch sensitive buttons underneath. With easy access to the home button, the back button and the multitask button this handset is straightforward to operate. The HTC Desire X measures 118.5 x 62.3 X 9.3 mm so it should fit comfortably in the palm of your hand or in your pocket.
Features of the HTC
This HTC smartphone does not feature a front facing camera, but on the rear is a 5 megapixel camera and an LED flash. The HTC Desire X supports a microSD port and a mobile phone SIM card slot. It has a variety of connection methods to choose from including Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth. The keyboard is easy to use with a high level of accuracy and looks more spacious than the keyboard featured on the HTC Desire C.
The HTC Desire X has a memory capacity of 32GB. It runs on a 1 GHz dual core processor and can boast 768MB of RAM. The LCD glass screen provides a display of 480 x 800 pixels. Although that may seem small, images are sharp and clear.
The Desire X runs on a 1,650mah battery that can provide a total of 1,200 minutes of talktime and 750 hours of standby time. Although this phone does not have the same speed as a market leading phone like the Samsung Galaxy, it does not really suffer for it. Apps can be downloaded and opened quickly on the Android operating system.
The Desire X has many other features, some which are an improvement from previous handsets such as the Desire C, whilst others are innovations. An email app allows you to manage your emails quickly and efficiently and you can choose between two individual browsers. Tap browsing enables you to open two or more pages simultaneously. The 4 inch display is not HD enabled but it does not negatively impact the user's experiences. Videos will play without a blur and will still be displayed in excellent clarity on the LCD screen.
