Junkers Diecast Vehicle
Junkers was a German company that manufactured model planes and other vehicles . They were at the forefront of German plane production in both the First and the Second World Wars. Junkers diecast vehicles are the perfect collectables to commemorate these key historical events.
Junkers planes are also made by a wider range of toy companies including Matchbox, Altaya and Corgi.
Junkers model planes
Junkers made numerous model aircraft while the company was in business. These planes were made from 1895 through to 1969 when the company ceased its operations.
Diecast models include some of the most iconic planes ever built. Precisely made, they are typically 1:72 scale, however others sizes are available.
The iconic and distinctive paint designs on German wartime planes set them aside from ours and all diecast models from Junkers are painted to a superb quality. Evident with such models as the JU88A-10, the mustard yellow body with black crosses at the end of the wing are a true representation of the real thing.
If you are lucky enough to find a Junkers diecast model vehicle or plane that is brand new in its box, you will find that the propellers and stand come unattached to the model so some assembly will be required.
Although it will depend if you pick a mint model or not, any slightly used collectible planes would be perfect as a keepsake toy or piece of war memorabilia.
What else did Junkers make?
Whilst Junkers were famous for their range of diecast planes, they also produced other vehicles, although these are a little rarer. These include spacecraft, cars, trucks, vans, military vehicles and tanks.
Junkers diecast Mercedes vans are primarily 1:87 size, although they also come in alternate sizes. They are perfect for van enthusiasts and collectors of van memorabilia.
