Kenwood Microphones

There are many situations when you need to use a professional standard microphone, whether at a desk or in situations where a hand held microphone is required and there is a wide range of Kenwood microphones to suit.

Kenwood Communications is a part of a multinational business, the JVCKENWOOD Corporation, which is headquartered in Japan. As well as producing car navigation and audio systems, Kenwood Communications produces mobile radio equipment for both the public and private sectors. This means that the microphones they make are used all over the world by the police, fire departments, in factories and hotels, and, in fact, anywhere where there is a need for communication between people.

Desk microphones

If you're looking for a microphone to be used on a desk, then look no further than the ones Kenwood produce. Current models include: the KMC-9C which is produced specifically for use in control or base stations and is often used in amateur radio applications; the MC-90 which is designed to be DSP compatible; and the MC-60A for using with HF transceivers .

Handheld microphones

There's a wide variety of Kenwood handheld microphones. The MC47, fitted with a standard 8 pin plug, will fit most HF transceiver systems and, in addition to the up and down buttons, has four multifunction buttons. There's the SMC-34 speaker microphone which has programmable function keys, volume control and an earphone jack. Or there's the MC-59 designed for use with FM mobiles which has a 16 button keypad. Or choose one of the microphones with integral GPS or one for heavy duty use. There's so many different Kenwood handheld microphones, that it really depends on your requirements and your budget.

Whatever model you decide to buy, you know that it is backed up by the research and technology invested in by Kenwood Communications over many years.
