Linen Men's Waistcoats

For a special occasion such as a wedding or for when looking your best matters, linen men's waistcoats are the perfect wardrobe staple. If you want to look elegant and feel confidently stylish at a formal event, linen waistcoats are an ideal addition to your wardrobe.

The beauty of linen waistcoats is that they can also be dressed down to look more like casual wear. Team with a white oxford shirt, jeans and trainers for a quirky daytime look. They also come in long or short cuts to fit the body type.

Linen men's waistcoats are available in either single or double breasted designs. They are usually tailored for a closer fit with at least two bottom pockets, one either side. Some waistcoats have internal pockets to keep valuables.

The back is usually made up of a contoured panel of satin or polyester for an elegant sheen, though some waistcoats have the same material all around. An adjustable back strap is usually present to bring in the waist for a closer fit. A range of colours such as cream, pastel pinks and blues or darker tones like navy and black are available to suit any outfit for any occasion.

Linen is a great material to wear in the summer as it is breathable and absorbs moisture to prevent overheating. It's also smooth to the touch making it a stylish choice for all occasions.

Linen is also tougher and more durable than other fabrics so it will not stretch out of shape, making it a good investment for future use. Care should be taken when ironing and folding the waistcoat, as the material will break down if pressure is put on the same place repeatedly.

Wedding waistcoats

Men's linen waistcoats offer a slightly less formal option for weddings. Some linen waistcoats go that extra mile to add a luxurious touch. Added detail such as white piped edges, ivory buttons and a luxury satin lining make a waistcoat wedding ready. Wear with a matching suit jacket and trousers for the ultimate summer wedding look.
