Buddleja davidii Black Knight. One of the best known and loved varieites of this hugely popular species of plant. A large shrub, vigorous grower and great survivor, almost regardless of the conditions and of course it will attract as many butterflies as you have in your area!
Truly a four-seasons plant, ‘Autumn Leaves’ changes its personality as the days grow longer. Mid-sized leaves of red in the spring, taupe in summer, and ruby red in the fall, put on a show in any season. The H. villosa and H. americana parentage will help with heat and humidity tolerance.
I have for sale a number of these shade loving specimens.
Any questions please feel free to ask!
HORNBEAM MAPLE. This is a fantastic, underrated plant with beautifully shaped leaves, featuring fishbone-like veins and the foliage readily turn yellow in Autumn. It is even good for the patio, it branches out freely and grows relatively slowly.
Buddleja davidii Adonis Blue was bred a few years ago by Elizabeth Keep at the East Malling Horticultural Reseach Station in Kent Uk. Adonis Blue is ideal for the smaller garden or patio and of course, it will attract as many butterflies as you have in your area!
