This is a particularly pretty bedside cabinet. The cabinet is Georgian dating to around 1820. I love these cabinets. The quality is in the detail. This bedside cabinet will look very good in a bedroom furnished in antiques or mahogany.
This is r a Regency, mahogany Canterbury. As this was made before 1830 this piece is what a purest would call an antique, in fact it dates to around 1810 (George III – the “mad” one). Apart from that it is as it was made 200 years ago but with a much better colour.
This is a good quality corner washstand / cabinet. It is made in solid mahogany and is Georgian dating to around 1800. Originally the cabinet would have been used in a bedroom as a washstand and you can see the cut outs for a washing bowl and beakers etc under the mahogany top that has been put over them to give you a solid surface.
Great rare item, which is solid with no loose joints. The oak lined drawer slides freely. In good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, distortion, wear, imperfections, scratches etc., as one would expect with antique furniture and generally desirable.
A lovely Victorian mahogany hallstand. We date this hallstand to the late 19th century. The hall stand sits on two decorative turned legs at the front and two oblong section legs at the rear. The back features six double coat hooks and two single hooks with a central mirror. The mirror glass is thick and bevelled and is showing only minor signs of foxing and some light scratching. The stand is fitted with a central shelf below the mirror. There is a lidded box below the shelf which is flanked by two open stick/umbrella areas over base drip trays. The hall coat stand has a height of 80" (203cm), a width of 40.5" (103cm) and a depth of 12.5" (32cm). This lovely Victorian mahogany hallstand remains in a good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage.
In very good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, wear and imperfections, as is generally desirable with antique furniture. Great rare item, which is solid with no loose joints and no woodworm.
It has the typical Liberty Arts & Crafts spade cut out so favoured by Archibald Knox in his silver work. A good looking understated piece, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom.
