By John Adam with Historical and Topographical Notes by George Hay. One of less than 20 copies printed on handmade paper. With handwritten presentation letter attached to ffep to the Rev William Duke of St Vigeans.
A miniature hardback detailing the life of Napoleon Bonaparte "from the most authentic sources" . With an introductory essay by Dr. Channing. The Book has minimal edge and shelf wear. The binding is solid and generally the pages are tightly bound. Not surprisingly given a book that is over one hundred years old there are some issues.
There is a stain on the bottom front cover corner. On the front and back inside cover there are glued remains. There is a personalised dedication. The two pages with a portrait of Napoleon and a title illustration are detached. A few pages are clipped at the top edge. Pages 51/52 have been handwritten?.
