    <p>Early Victorian Papier Mache, Mother Of Pearl Tea Caddy C.1875. In the Jennings & Bettridge Style. No makers marks.</p><p>The front and sides of serpentine form, inlaid with two panels of mother-of-pearl and gilded scroll decoration. Raised on four circular disc feet, also decorated in the gilded scroll decoration. The hinged lid opened to reveal a two compartmented interior, with simple black Papier Mache lids and engraved mother-of-pearl finials, in a rosette or wagon wheel decoration.</p><p>The hinges have a registration mark on them, but it is difficult to read.</p><br><p>Condition:- some cracks, some chips but as would be expected of such an item of this age. Please see photos and ask any questions.</p><p>Size:- 13.5cm high x 19cm wide x 27cm long.</p>
