Both serving dishes are in excellent condition with just some minor wear/cutlery marks on plates (see photos). Plates measure approximately 10” diameter and the serving dishes measure approximately 8 1/4 “ x 3”. Any questions please ask. Produced as part of the Streamline Shape tableware range, originally designed in the 1930’s by John Adams, this lovely 3 section hors d'oeuvres dish / nibbles tray is found here hand-painted in the fabulous KU.A pattern design of stylised Seafood motifs to each individual section, with simple purple line detail to the rim, all on a smart pale grey ground.
This Poole Hors d'Oevres dish is decorated in the very popular KUB pattern. It is 13.5" (33.5cm) long, 8.25" (20.5cm) wide, was made in the period 1952 to 1955 and the factory marks include X M/KUB which would indicate it was probably decorated by Gwen Haskins, head paintress for many years and with the pottery from 1938 to 1977.
