    This porcelain 2 handled rectangular dessert centre dish , was made at Swansea , circa 1820 , and bears the Swansea hand written mark in red , on the base . It has a duck egg blue translucency and is decorated with handpainted cornflowers and enriched with gilding . It stands at 2" high and measures 11 1/4" x 7 1/8" in diameter . It is in good condition with no chips , cracks or restoration , there is just some wear to the gilding , mostly on the edge as shown . Please see my other items for more from this dessert service .

    This porcelain cup and saucer , was made circa 1810-15 , there are no makers marks , but it is possibly Thomas Wolfe , formerly known as factory Z . It is decorated with transferprints of a Shepherd playing a pipe , resting by a tree with his flock of sheep and a country house in the background . The cup stands at 2 1/4" high , and the saucer measures 5 5/8" in diameter . There is a fine crack on the edge of the saucer , of about 7/8" in length and an under the glaze chip , on the top edge of the cup , from when it was made . It is decorated with a blue and white transferprint of the Broseley pagoda pattern , the cover has a different border and is probably a very good match , its fits very well and looks good . It stands at 6 7/8" high and measures 8 1/2" from the spout to the handle . There is some restoration to the end of the spout , there is some fine glaze crazing , with staining on one side and some fine speckles of kiln dust , from when it was made .     This porcelain dinner plate , was made by Sevres , circa 1760-70 and bears a feint Sevres mark , with the initials BD , on the base , I have rubbed over this mark with a pencil , to make it more visible . It was later redecorated , probably by Thomas Randall , circa 1835-40 , with a handpainted cherub on a cloud , within a pink border with medallions of flowers and enriched with gilding . It measures 10" in diameter . There is an under the decoration chip , on the edge , from when it was redecorated , there is no other damage and the gilding is good with just very slight wear .
